Steve is the Founder and Director of Chelona. Driven by his values - safety, loyalty, quality; these became the foundation for Chelona.

Steve is a fitter-machinist by trade, starting with underground longwall equipment, moving to

25 years in open cut with Draglines and Process Plants. Steve has accumulated 15 years of Leadership and Project Management across the Bowen Basin.

Tony is a proven leader on the mine site however his greatest passion is the workshop.

With 20 years managing well-known workshops in Mackay, he has managed our Farleigh workshop from its inception. Tony specalises in light and heavy fab and mechanical overhauls.

The workshop team pride themselves on professional and precise work. Tony is the link between the workshop and the Engineering team.

Nathan is well known in the Bowen Basin for Dragline and CHPP Maintenance.

Nathan has 20 years experience in the industry and is a proven Shut/Outage Supervisor and Project Manager.

His firm, fair and friendly leadership style gets the most out of the team and a great result for the client.

Kriste manages the Chelona Office.

Her friendly, positive energy and experience keep Chelona running smoothly.

From accounting to appointments, it's likely that Kriste will be helping you along the way.
